Piles and Fissure in ano

Most often it is secondary to chronic constipation and less intake of fibers. Piles causes painless bleeding whereas fissure causes episodes of painful defecation with streaks of blood over the stools.Wide adoption of polished rice & refined flours with poor consumption of fruits and vegetables impair gut motility and increase the prevalence of these diseases. Hemorroidectomy may improve symptoms but it's not addressing the root cause of chronic constipation which can be addressed only by proper nutrition and lifestyle.
